West Indies Beat England in Fourth T20I Despite Losing Series

West Indies secured a thrilling 5-wicket victory against England in the fourth T20I on Sunday morning, though England has already claimed the series. Chasing a target of 219 runs, the hosts completed the chase in 19 overs, thanks to brilliant performances from Evin Lewis and Shai Hope.

Opener Lewis was the top scorer, smashing 68 runs off 31 balls with 4 fours and 7 sixes. He shared a remarkable 136-run opening stand with Shai Hope, who scored 54 runs off 24 balls, hitting 7 fours and 3 sixes.

Captain Rovman Powell added 38 runs off 23 balls, including 2 fours and 3 sixes, while Sherfane Rutherford contributed an unbeaten 29 off 17 balls to finish the game. For England, Rehan Ahmed picked up 3 wickets, and John Turner grabbed 1.

Earlier, England, invited to bat first at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, posted an impressive 218/5 in 20 overs. Jacob Bethell was unbeaten on 62 off 32 balls, hitting 4 fours and 5 sixes. Opener Phil Salt scored 55 off 35 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes.

Skipper Jos Buttler added 38 runs off 23 balls, Sam Curran smashed 24 off 13 balls, and Will Jacks chipped in with 25 off 12 balls. For West Indies, Gudakesh Motie took 2 wickets, while Akeal Hosein and Roston Chase claimed 1 each.

The fifth and final T20I is set for Monday.
