Australia Completes T20I Series Sweep Against Pakistan

Australia achieved a clean sweep in the three-match T20I series against Pakistan by winning the third game on Monday by seven wickets. Having already clinched the series with victories in the first two matches, Australia capped it off with a dominant performance in Hobart.

Chasing a modest target of 118, Australia reached the target comfortably in just 11.2 overs, losing three wickets. Marcus Stoinis was the star of the chase, smashing an unbeaten 61 runs off 27 balls, including five fours and five sixes. Captain Josh Inglis contributed 27 off 24 balls, Jack Fraser added 18 off 11, and Tim David remained not out with seven runs. Abbas Afridi, Shaheen Afridi, and Zaman Khan picked up one wicket each for Pakistan.

Earlier, Pakistan, opting to bat first, were bowled out for 117 in 18.1 overs. Babar Azam top-scored with 41 off 28 balls, hitting four boundaries. Haseebullah Khan chipped in with 24 off 19, while Shaheen Afridi and Irfan Khan added 16 and 10 runs, respectively. The rest of the batting lineup failed to reach double figures.

Aaron Hardie led the Australian bowling attack with three wickets, while Spencer Johnson and Adam Zampa took two each. Xavier Bartlett and Nathan Ellis grabbed one wicket apiece.

Although Australia swept the T20I series 3-0, Pakistan had earlier won the three-match ODI series 2-1.
