Tottenham Thrashes Man City 4–0 in a Premier League Stunner
|Tottenham Hotspur handed defending champions Manchester City a humiliating 4–0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium in Saturday night’s Premier League clash.
Goals from James Maddison (2), Pedro Porro, and Brennan Johnson secured a resounding victory for Tottenham. The Spurs scored twice in each half, dominating City throughout.
First Half: Maddison Shines
In the 20th minute, Maddison opened the scoring for Tottenham with a clinical finish off Dejan Kulusevski’s pass. Just 15 minutes later, Maddison doubled the lead, capitalizing on a perfect pass from captain Son Heung-min, giving Spurs a comfortable 2–0 advantage by halftime.
Second Half: Complete Domination
Tottenham continued their relentless performance in the second half. Pedro Porro extended the lead in the 52nd minute, leaving City trailing 3–0. In injury time, substitute Brennan Johnson, who replaced Son in the 63rd minute, sealed the rout with a goal off Timo Werner’s assist, making it 4–0.
