Pakistan vs Ireland 34th Match ICC T20 World Cup 2024

Pakistan and Ireland saw their T20 World Cup campaigns end after the match between the USA and Ireland was washed out on Friday. The two teams are now set to play for pride when they meet on Sunday in Florida.

Babar Azam and his Pakistan (PAK) team are out of the T20 World Cup after a dismal performance in their first two matches. Their loss to the United States was shocking, but their capitulation against India was particularly memorable.

The win over Canada was too little, too late, as Pakistan was already dependent on other results to advance to the Super-8 stage.

Ireland (IRE) had higher expectations coming into the T20 World Cup. However, Paul Stirling and his team have disappointed many cricket fans worldwide with their batting and bowling performances this campaign. The Irish team will fancy their chances, having recently beaten Pakistan in a T20 match at home.

The match will be played at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida. The surface will be slightly damp as there has been very rain in recent few days. There could be some inconsistent bounce and batters could struggle to score runs. A score of 150-160 should be defendable.
